Through The Looking Glass Series
------------------------------------------------- The images in this collection are more experimental and personal in nature. They are about Spontaneity and reflection. I did not attempt to ‘trap’ my subjects, but rather let them how they were and only tried to capture the way I saw them. I used old fashion techniques such as shooting through a dirty lens, soft-focus filters, slow shutter speeds, manual focusing, anything that would achieve the desired mood. I shot in Black and White mode at high ISO rating to create the graininess, reminiscent of film negatives. Post-processing in the digital darkroom include contrast adjustments, dodging and burning, toning and framing. |
